Each workshop is geared toward a different style of shaabi (mahrganaat, shaabi pop, “classic” shaabi) and requires a distinct set of skills.
Luna will guide you through street technique as she untangles the iconic arm movements that stump even the most skilled dancers. Additionally, Luna will explain everything from lyrics to gestures to body language. This will provide dancers with the foundation necessary to bring their shaabi skills to the next level.

Who is
Luna of Cairo
Luna of Cairo is an American professional belly dancer, Harvard graduate and Fullbright Grantee who became a renowned star in Egypt, performing in top Cairo hotels and Nile cruises. Known for her authentic Egyptian style, she appeared in music videos, films, and on television, later touring internationally to teach workshops.
